§ 50506 Financial Misconduct By Insiders

Key Takeaways

  • •If you work for a company with a special license and take their stuff (like money or things) without permission, you're breaking the law.
  • •You also break the law if you don't record the stuff you took in the company's books or help hide it.
  • •This only applies if you did it on purpose, not by mistake.

Example

A manager at a bank takes $100 from the cash drawer and doesn't write it down in the bank's records.

The manager broke the law because they took the bank's money without permission and didn't record it. This is like stealing and lying about it.
