§ 3105 Fraudulent Medical Record Alteration

Altering or modifying the medical record of any person, with fraudulent intent, or creating any false medical record, with fraudulent intent, constitutes unprofessional conduct. In addition to any other disciplinary action, the California State Board of Optometry may impose a civil penalty of five hundred dollars ($500) for a violation of this section. (Amended by Stats. 2021, Ch. 630, Sec. 86. (AB 1534) Effective January 1, 2022.)
