§ 79860 Liability Transfer Restrictions

Except as provided in Article 10 (commencing with Section 79875), no indemnification, hold harmless, conveyance, or similar agreement shall be effective to transfer any liability for cost or expenditures recoverable under this part. This section shall not bar any agreement to insure, hold harmless, or indemnify a party to the agreement for any costs or expenditures under this part. (Added by Stats. 2022, Ch. 257, Sec. 2. (AB 2293) Effective January 1, 2023. Operative January 1, 2024, pursuant to Sec. 4 of Stats. 2022, Ch. 257.)
