§ 43652 Emissions Control For Older Vehicles

Except as provided in Section 43657, every 1955 through 1965 model year motor vehicle, subject to registration in this state, upon either transfer of ownership and registration, or upon initial registration of such vehicle not previously registered in this state, shall be equipped with a certified device to control its exhaust emissions in accordance with a schedule of installation adopted by the state board. (Added by Stats. 1975, Ch. 957.)
