§ 41244 Mojave District Warrant Issuance

Key Takeaways

  • •The Mojave Desert district can start using a special process to issue warrants (like official payment orders) if they pass a resolution.
  • •This new process starts on the first day of the second month after they decide to use it.
  • •If the district thinks their money-tracking system isn’t good enough, they can stop using this process.
  • •If they stop it, the change happens at the start of the next fiscal year (like the next budget year).

Example

Imagine the Mojave Desert district is like a school that decides to use a new way to pay for supplies.

They vote to start this new payment method, and it begins two months later. But if they realize their money records are messy, they can stop using this method at the start of the next school budget year.
