§ 12616 Fireworks Theft Reporting

• •If you have a license to sell or use fireworks and some get stolen or lost, you must tell the State Fire Marshal.
• •You have to report it within 24 hours of finding out about the theft or loss.
• •Your report must include how many fireworks were lost, what kind they were, and where it happened.

You own a fireworks stand and one night someone breaks in and steals a bunch of fireworks.

You have to call the State Fire Marshal and tell them what happened within 24 hours. You also need to say how many fireworks were taken, what types they were, and that they were stolen from your stand.
