§ 12607 Fireworks License Denial Criteria

• •If you have been convicted of a serious crime involving explosives or dangerous fireworks, you might not get a license to work with fireworks.
• •If you have been convicted of a crime involving setting fires or other fire-related crimes, you might not get a license to work with fireworks.
• •This rule applies to both new applications and renewals of licenses.

If someone was convicted of setting fire to a building 5 years ago, they apply for a fireworks license.

The State Fire Marshal can say no to their application because of their past crime involving fire.
