§ 12581 Fireworks Licensing Requirements

• •You need a special permission (license) to make, bring in, sell, or use fireworks.
• •You have to ask for this permission in writing to the State Fire Marshal.
• •You must pay a fee every year to keep this permission.

You want to sell fireworks at a stand for the 4th of July.

Before you can sell any fireworks, you must fill out a form, send it to the State Fire Marshal, and pay a fee. If you don’t do this, you’re breaking the law.
