§ 12589 License Application Void Conditions

Key Takeaways

  • •If you don't show up for your test or give a good reason why you missed it, your application is canceled.
  • •If you fail the test, your application is canceled.
  • •If you don't send the right papers to prove you're qualified, your application is canceled.
  • •If you lie on your application, your application is canceled.

Example

You apply for a license to work with fire safety equipment. You miss your test date and don't tell anyone why. Later, you try to take the test but are told you can't.

Because you didn't show up for the test or give a good reason, your application is canceled. You'll have to start over if you still want the license.
