§ 32326 Retirement System Payment Election

• •If you choose to join this plan, you get any money owed to you from other plans.
• •The money is paid to you like you’re leaving the job.
• •Some exceptions apply (Sections 32327, 32328, and 32329).

You switch from an old retirement plan to a new one.

The new plan pays you any money you had in the old plan, just like you quit your job.
