§ 74027 Winegrape Producer Definition

“Producer” and “grower” are synonymous and mean any person who produced winegrapes in a marketing season in a quantity of more than 25 tons. Unless otherwise exempted, producer also includes any person who receives winegrapes as payment for the use of his or her property in the production of winegrapes. (Added by Stats. 1986, Ch. 1286, Sec. 1.)
