§ 29124 Bee Shipment Entry Requirements

• •If you bring bees, used hives, or used bee stuff into the state, you need a special paper (certificate) to prove it's safe.
• •If you don’t have the paper, the state can send the bees or hives back or destroy them.
• •You (the owner) have to pay for sending them back or destroying them.

A beekeeper wants to move some beehives from another state to sell them.

If the beekeeper doesn’t have the right certificate, the state won’t let the hives in. They’ll either send them back or destroy them, and the beekeeper has to pay for it.
