§ 29120 Bee Importation Certificate Requirements

Key Takeaways

  • •You can't bring bees or used bee stuff into the state without a special paper.
  • •The paper must be given to the county boss or the state boss within 3 days of arrival.
  • •This rule doesn't apply if another rule (Section 29121) says it's okay.

Example

A beekeeper wants to bring a box of bees from another state to sell in California.

The beekeeper must have a special paper saying the bees are healthy and give it to the county boss within 3 days. If they don't, they can get in trouble.
