§ 6564 Delegate Alternate Selection Limits

• •You can pick backup people (alternates) for a group, but not more than one backup per person in the group.
• •The way you pick these backups has to follow the rules from another part of the law (Section 6563).

Imagine you and your friends are going to a school trip, and each of you can bring one backup friend in case you get sick.

The rule says you can only have one backup friend for each person going on the trip. Also, the way you choose these backup friends has to follow the school’s rules for picking them.
