§ 8785 Project Expenditure Consent

• •You need written permission to spend money on a project.
• •If you don't get that permission on time, you can't spend any more money on it.
• •You also can't promise to pay for anything related to the project without that permission.

Imagine your school wants to build a new playground.

The school must get a signed paper saying it's okay to spend money on the playground. If they don't get that paper on time, they can't buy slides, swings, or anything else for it. They also can't promise the toy company they'll pay for the equipment later.
