  • •You have 30 days to ask for this review after getting the final bill.
  • •The court will set a hearing to listen to your complaints.
  • •The court will mail a notice to everyone involved at least 10 days before the hearing.

Example

You and your neighbor had a court fight over a fence. The court sends you a bill saying you have to pay $1,000 and your neighbor pays $500. You think this is unfair.

You can write to the court within 30 days and say you don't agree with the bill. The court will then set a hearing to listen to why you think it's unfair. They will also mail a notice to your neighbor about the hearing at least 10 days before it happens.
