§ 13887 Health Problem Grant Priority

Key Takeaways

  • •Money from grants goes first to places with big health problems, like dirty water making people sick.
  • •Fixing problems right now is more important than building new stuff for later.
  • •The health department decides which problems are the worst.

Example

A small town's drinking water is full of bad stuff, and kids are getting sick from it.

The town can get money fast to clean the water because it's a big health problem now, not something that might happen later.
