§ 13366 License Suspension Start

This law says your driver's license gets suspended or taken away as soon as you're found guilty of breaking traffic laws.

Key Takeaways

  • •Your license gets suspended or revoked as soon as you're found guilty.
  • •It doesn't matter if you plead guilty, the court finds you guilty, or a jury says you're guilty—it starts right then.
  • •This applies to any traffic law you break that can get your license suspended or taken away.

Example

You get caught speeding really fast, and the court says you're guilty.

Your license suspension starts right away after the court says you're guilty, not later.
