§ 40480 South Coast District Staffing

(a)  The south coast district board shall employ the necessary staff to carry out its program throughout the south coast district. (b)  The south coast district board shall appoint an executive officer to direct the staff, subject to the direction and policy of the south coast district board. (c)  The staff shall also be available to serve those portions of a county not included within the south coast district where the county is only partly included within the south coast district. (d)  The south coast district may enter into a contract with any city or county included, in whole or in part, within the south coast district to perform air pollution control functions for the south coast district, and the city or county may perform such functions for the south coast district pursuant to the contract. (Amended by Stats. 1980, Ch. 1085.)
