§ 40311 City Selection Committee Membership

• •This rule is about who gets to be on a special committee in a county.
• •If a regional district only works in part of a county, only cities in that part can pick people for the committee.
• •Cities outside that area don’t get to choose anyone for this committee.

Imagine a county has 10 cities, but a special water district only covers 3 of them.

Only those 3 cities get to pick people for the committee that makes decisions about the water district. The other 7 cities don’t get a say because they’re not in the water district’s area.
