§ 12642 Permit Duration And Revocation

Key Takeaways

  • •A permit is only good for as long as your license is valid.
  • •The permit can be taken away if it causes a fire danger or could hurt someone.
  • •The people who gave you the permit can cancel it if there's a good reason.

Example

You get a permit to have a big bonfire in your backyard.

If your license to have fires expires in 6 months, your permit for the bonfire also expires then. If the fire gets too big and could hurt someone, the fire department can cancel your permit right away.
