§ 123525 Budget Act Funding Requirement

Key Takeaways

  • •This law only works if there's money set aside for it in the budget.
  • •If there's no money, the rules in this section don't apply.
  • •The government decides each year if there's enough money to use these rules.

Example

Imagine your school wants to start a new after-school program.

The program can only happen if the school has enough money in its budget. If the money isn't there, the program won't start, even if everyone likes the idea.
