§ 110474 Food Registration Fee Exemptions

Key Takeaways

  • •If you have a permit to make or sell processed food, you still need to follow other food rules too.
  • •If you have more than one food permit, you only pay the highest fee, not all of them.
  • •Extra fees for cannery checks or organic food permits still apply on top of the main fee.

Example

A person owns a factory that makes both regular jam and organic jam.

They need a permit for making jam and another for organic jam. They only pay the higher fee for the organic permit, not both. But they still have to pay extra if someone checks their factory.
