§ 107000 Radiologic Technologist Certification Requirements

This law says anyone who wants to be a certified radiologic technologist must prove they finished a proper radiology school program or something the department thinks is just as good, unless special exceptions apply.

Key Takeaways

  • •You must show proof you finished a radiology tech course from an approved school or an equivalent program.
  • •The department decides if a non‑approved program is good enough.
  • •If you fall under Sections 107035, 107040, or 25685, the rule may not apply.

Example

Maria wants to become a certified radiologic technologist. She sends the department her diploma and transcript from an approved radiology school to show she finished the required training.

Because Maria gave proof of completing an approved program, the department can accept her application for certification, as the law requires.
