§ 103775 Birth Certificate Information Violations

This law says that anyone who has to give information for a birth or death record must give the correct info, and if they lie or refuse, they can be charged with a misdemeanor.

Key Takeaways

  • •Anyone who must supply info for a birth or death certificate must give it correctly.
  • •Giving false information or refusing to give required info is a misdemeanor.
  • •For funeral home staff or others who need a special license, the penalty can be up to 1 year in jail and a $10,000 fine.

Example
