§ 103230 Birth Certificate Parentage Rules

• •Section 103225 works for birth certificates only if no other document conflicts with the parent‑child info.

A baby’s birth certificate lists Mom and Dad as the parents and there are no court orders or other papers saying someone else is a parent.

Because nothing else contradicts the parent information on the original birth certificate, the rules from Section 103225 can be applied to that certificate.
