§ 102355 Marriage Certificate Transmission Requirements

• •Local marriage registrars must send originals to the State Registrar at least every three months.
• •All certificates from the previous quarter must be included.

A small town clerk collects 30 marriage certificates from January to March. By the end of March, they mail all 30 originals to the State Registrar, sorting them into a folder for the year 2025.
