§ 9907 Legislative Reorganization Effective Date

Key Takeaways

  • •This law starts working right away.
  • •It changes how the Legislature works, like how committees are set up and how money is spent.
  • •All these changes happen at the first meeting of the Legislature after this law is passed.

Example

Imagine your school suddenly gets new rules for how clubs are run and how money is spent on school activities.

This law is like those new school rules. It changes how the Legislature (a group of people who make laws) organizes its groups (committees) and spends money. These changes start at the very next meeting they have after the law is passed.
