§ 55091 Local Sewer Construction Agreements

• •Local governments can work together to build and fix sewer pipes under streets.
• •This is only for big pipes that carry waste or water away from homes and buildings.
• •They must follow the rules in this law when doing this work.

Two neighboring towns want to build a new sewer pipe that runs under a shared road.

The towns can team up to dig under the street and put in the pipe, as long as they follow the rules in this law.
