§ 54350 Local Agency Health Regulations

Key Takeaways

  • •Local agencies can make rules for places they build or fix up to keep people safe and healthy.
  • •These rules are like instructions to make sure everything runs smoothly and doesn't hurt anyone.
  • •The agency can enforce these rules, meaning they can make sure people follow them.

Example

A city builds a new public swimming pool.

The city can make rules like 'no running near the pool' or 'shower before swimming' to keep everyone safe and healthy. If someone breaks these rules, the city can enforce them, like asking the person to leave or giving a warning.
