§ 21169 Workers' Compensation Review Writ

• •If you ask a court to review a workers' comp decision, the court must get the full case file from the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board within 30 days.

• •The court will hear the case on the scheduled day unless there’s a good reason to delay it.

A worker gets hurt on the job, and the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board says they don’t get benefits. The worker asks a court to review the decision.

The court tells the Appeals Board to send over all the case files within 30 days. The court can’t listen to new doctors or witnesses—it can only decide based on what’s already in those files.
