• •State agencies must check every year if they are unfairly not hiring people with disabilities for jobs they can do.
• •If they find out they are not hiring enough people with disabilities, they must fix it.
• •The goal is to make sure people with disabilities get a fair chance at jobs they are qualified for.

A state office realizes they have hired very few people who use wheelchairs, even though many of them applied for jobs they could do.
