• •Once they do that, they have the same powers and rules as the person who had the job before.

Imagine your school’s principal quits, and a new principal is hired to take their place.

The new principal has to promise to do a good job and follow all the rules. Once they do that, they can do everything the old principal could, like making school rules, and they have to do all the same things, like making sure the school runs smoothly.
