§ 10202 Legislative Counsel Vacancy Selection

• •If the Legislative Counsel job is empty when the Legislature is not in session, a special group picks someone to fill in.
• •This special group includes the Speaker of the Assembly, the Speaker pro Tempore of the Assembly, the President pro Tempore of the Senate, and the chairperson of the Senate Appropriations Committee.
• •The person they pick will only work until the Legislature is back in session and can choose someone themselves.
