§ 22705 Commissioner'S Public Welfare Authority

Key Takeaways

  • •The boss in charge can step in anytime to keep people safe, even if no one asked for permission first.
  • •This boss can act even if a license was never given, was taken away, or was given up.
  • •The boss doesn’t need to wait for someone to apply for a license to make rules or take action.

Example

A new ride-sharing app starts letting people drive others around without checking if the cars are safe.

The boss in charge can stop them right away, even if the app never asked for a license, because keeping people safe is more important.
