§ 16152 Foreign Credit Union Reports

• •Audit or examination reports must be filed with the commissioner within 10 days of receipt.
• •The commissioner can allow more time if needed.
• •Any response the credit union makes to those reports must also be filed within 10 days of the response.
• •These rules only apply to credit unions that are based in another state.

A credit union from another state is audited and gets a report. It must mail that report to the state commissioner within 10 days. If the credit union writes back to the report, that reply also has to be mailed within 10 days.

The law makes sure the commissioner sees the audit and the credit union’s answer quickly, so the state can keep track of out‑of‑state credit unions.
