§ 4400 Adult Child Support Duty

Except as otherwise provided by law, an adult child shall, to the extent of the adult child’s ability, support a parent who is in need and unable to self-maintain by work. (Amended by Stats. 2019, Ch. 115, Sec. 54. (AB 1817) Effective January 1, 2020.)
