§ 1811 Annual Judge Designation Requirement

This law says that every January, the main judge in the superior court must pick at least one judge to handle all cases under this part of the law.

Key Takeaways

  • •Every January, the main judge picks at least one judge for special cases.
  • •This helps keep things organized so certain cases go to the same judge.
  • •The rule started in 2004.

Example

Imagine a big court with many judges. Every year, the head judge needs to choose one judge to be in charge of certain cases.

This means that if you have a case that falls under this part of the law, it will always go to the same judge who was picked for that year.
