§ 79815 County District Boundaries

Key Takeaways

  • •California is split into 3 big areas (Districts 1, 2, and 3) for olive oil rules.
  • •If one area has way more (or way less) olive trees than the others, the rules can change to make things fair.
  • •The people in charge can change these areas if they tell everyone first and most of them agree.

Example

If District 1 suddenly grows a lot more olive trees than the other districts, the rules might change.

The people in charge will check if one district has 20% more olive trees than the others. If yes, they can redraw the lines to balance things out.
