§ 78721 Commission Continuation Or Suspension

Key Takeaways

  • •The secretary checks if people agree with the rules or if there's a big problem with them.
  • •If most people agree, the rules stay in place.
  • •If most people don't agree, the rules stop working after February 2002.
  • •No special money or guarantee is needed for the vote.

Example

Imagine your school has a rule that everyone must wear red shirts on Fridays.

The principal asks all the students if they like this rule. If most students say yes, the rule stays. If most students say no, the rule stops after a certain date, like the end of the school year. No one has to pay or promise anything to vote.
