§ 76161 Cherry Industry Reporting Violations

Key Takeaways

  • •You can't lie or give fake info to the cherry commission.
  • •If you work with cherries (selling, shipping, etc.), you must tell the commission who you got them from and how many.
  • •You can't hide, destroy, or change records about cherries that you're supposed to keep.

Example

A cherry seller gets asked by the commission where they bought their cherries and how many they bought.

If the seller lies about where they got the cherries or refuses to answer, they are breaking the law. They also can't throw away or change their records to hide the truth.
