§ 61993 Milk Stabilization Plan Formulation

Key Takeaways

  • •The director can make a plan to keep milk prices steady and help sell milk better.
  • •If the director thinks a plan is needed, they will create one and tell everyone involved.
  • •Everyone who produces or handles milk will get a notice about a public meeting to talk about the plan.

Example

Imagine you are a dairy farmer selling milk, and the price of milk keeps going up and down a lot.

The director might make a plan to keep milk prices more stable so farmers can sell their milk without worrying about big price changes. They will then call a meeting to talk about this plan with all the farmers and milk sellers.
