§ 59916 Major Marketing Program Amendments

Key Takeaways

  • •A big change to a marketing program happens if it adds or removes the power to create and share money from an equalization fund.
  • •This rule is about how money is shared fairly in marketing programs.
  • •The equalization fund is mentioned in other sections (59813 and 59814).

Example

Imagine a group of farmers who sell milk together. They have a shared pot of money to help farmers who are struggling to sell as much milk.

If the group decides to add or remove the power to create or use this shared pot of money, it's considered a big change to their marketing program.
