§ 59282 Marketing Order Inspection Authority

Key Takeaways

  • •Inspectors can check places where fruits, veggies, or other farm products are grown, stored, or sold to make sure they follow the rules.
  • •They can take samples of these products to test if they meet the rules.
  • •This is to make sure everyone is playing fair and following the same rules for selling farm products.

Example

A farmer is selling oranges at a market. An inspector comes to check if the oranges are the right size and quality, as per the rules.

The inspector can go to the farmer's stall, look at the oranges, and even take a few to check if they meet the rules. If the oranges are too small or not good enough, the farmer might get in trouble.
