§ 54148 Filling Board Vacancies

• •If a board member leaves before their term ends, the rest of the board can vote to pick a new member.
• •If the rules say board members must be picked by districts, the new member must come from the same district as the one who left.
• •The board can also call a special meeting for people in that district to pick the new member.
