§ 45013 Committee Member Term Limits

• •Each committee member serves for 2 years.
• •At first, 3 members serve 1 year and 3 serve 2 years to start the cycle.
• •No one can be on the committee for more than 4 terms in a row.
• •If someone leaves early, a new person is chosen to finish their time.

Imagine a school club with 6 members. At first, 3 kids are picked to be in the club for 1 year, and the other 3 for 2 years. After that, every new member joins for 2 years. No kid can stay in the club for more than 8 years in a row (4 terms). If one kid moves away, another kid is picked to take their place until the term ends.

This rule makes sure the club always has new kids joining and no one stays too long. It keeps things fair and gives everyone a chance to be part of the club.
