§ 39521 Butter Substitute Definition

Spread is a substitute for butter consisting of mixtures of compounds which may include milk solids-not-fat and edible oils and fats that is made in imitation or semblance of butter and does not meet the definition for margarine or dairy spread. (Added by Stats. 1985, Ch. 512, Sec. 23.)
