§ 29449 Honey Shipment Violation Refusal

Key Takeaways

  • •If honey is bad or breaks the rules, the people who ship stuff can say no to moving it.
  • •A cop or inspector can tell the shipping company to stop moving the bad honey.
  • •This is to make sure bad or unsafe honey doesn’t get sold or sent to stores.

Example

A beekeeper tries to send honey to a store, but the honey has too much water in it (which is against the rules).

An inspector checks the honey and tells the shipping company, 'Don’t move this honey—it’s bad.' The shipping company can then refuse to take it.
