§ 2342 Veterinarian Livestock Health Enforcement

Key Takeaways

  • •The vet makes sure animals like cows, chickens, and rabbits are healthy and live in clean places.
  • •The vet follows rules made by the county leaders about keeping animals safe and healthy.
  • •This only applies in areas that are not part of a city (unincorporated areas).

Example

A farmer has a dirty barn where his cows live, and it’s making them sick.

The vet can tell the farmer to clean the barn so the cows stay healthy. If the farmer doesn’t listen, the vet can make sure the county’s rules are followed.
