§ 12107 License Issuance Requirements

This law says the director must give a license to anyone who meets the rules, letting them run the business they applied for during the calendar year(s) on the license, unless the license is taken away early.

Key Takeaways

  • •The director issues licenses to qualified applicants.
  • •The license lets the applicant run the business they described for the calendar year(s) on the license.
  • •The license can be revoked or suspended before the year ends if needed.

Example

A person applies to open a small coffee shop and meets all the requirements.

The director gives them a license for 2024, so they can run the coffee shop all year. If the director later finds a big problem, they could cancel or pause the license before the year ends.
